Hello guest
Your basket is empty
Easter and Spring! We can start to look forward to the longer warmer days. The long bank holiday weekend gives us precious time we don't normally have to spend with family and friends. Time to appreciate what we have and enjoy being together and of course eating lots of chocolate!

This is also a really good time to start thinking about how your home and garden works for you during the summer. Living in a home which requires renovation/modernisation has made me realise the importance of planning at least 1 outside and 1 inside project to achieve in the year.
Last year we undertook a raised bed and seating area around a very prominent willow tree in our garden. This area used to be rough uneven ground, full of weeds. With the help of one very clever husband, who laid the sleepers and created the bench, and tonnes and tonnes of top soil it has been transformed into a real focal point of the garden.

This year I hope to do something similar to another border. Watch this space I will keep you posted.
The other project undertaken last year was complete renovation and reorganisation of our master bedroom and ensuite.
One huge ugly, soulless room has been transformed into a gorgeous bedroom suite, consisting of a main bedroom, ensuite and dressing room. The results exceeded our expectations and was well worth the hard work!

This years’ inside project is our main family bathroom. Dated, impractical and generally very tired. Incorporation of an awkward passage space and airing cupboard into the bathroom will create a huge family bathroom. Works hope to begin within the next month so keep following me to see updates. I am already dreading the dust but very excited about planning a luxourious, stylish bathroom.

Enjoy what’s left of the weekend. Thanks for reading. xxx
